Life sucks.

I can't be bothered with many things.

And I hate that I have so many 'friends' on my Facebook list I can't wait to delete but can't be bothered. Primarily coz they post airhead posts that just makes me feel like they need better tastes in life and quit defiling others' minds with their distasteful posts. Now, this is why I do not post lots of stuff on Facebook anymore.
Coz everybody's judgey and obviously most people's taste different from mine.

I like it when it's quiet.

Perhaps my body craves the serenity. That it wakes persistently, almost everyday, in the middle of the night.
I mean, wee hours of the morning, when the sun has not so molest this little island of buzz and fuss and proceed to violently overstay its welcome.

When it's quiet I can concern myself with the thoughts in my mind.

Daily distractions from the morning commuters, work emails, evening commuters, and my incessant drama watching leaves me little 'quality me time'.

Once I caught this German film- The Wall.
It was just great. The story was slow and leaves little for imagination after the first 30 minutes but I wouldn't mind alive like that.

What's that life you ask?

Ze vomen vaz at a cabin in ze alps and found zat she vaz stuck in za vicinity and enclosed by in invisible dome/wall.
She hadn't a human companion but only a dog and a cow.

Zat vaz ze gist of it.
It's like Robinson Crusoe but instead of an island, it was the alps. The scenery was beautiful. The movie was mostly narrated by the protagonist. You can imagine the types of things that went through her mind.

I don't suppose I'd actually want that. But I wouldn't mind if it's for a while. Heh.

Shit happens. Incessantly.

When one looks at my default resting face, one might think I'm surprisingly unfriendly..

I mean, normal people would assume a lady with such a pleasant and LoveLee countenance would be amiable and sweet right? Ya know what I'm saying?
*sniggers*

Seriously though, I do, quite unfortunately, own a blah-resting face. In other words, I look perpetually sian.

And I'll tell you now God made my face the way it is because He knows I am a person who wears my expressions on my face.

Lol. Quite literally. No pun intended albeit adapted from the saying, 'wearing my heart on my sleeves'.

Yes. So if I look like blah. It truly is that I'm blah.

It's my default feeling.

And half the time #idontgiveashit about anything. Although I have been taught to act upon otherwise. And owing to my innately good and helpful nature, no pun intended either, I appear to be a good person..
Well, better than what I really feel the Kareen who resides deep in my creaking bones is.

The irony is that I care but I don't care.

I'll tell you now that it's, believe it or not, ruddy difficult NOT to care.

It's a chore to care..and it's a chore not to care.

So tell me, how can I not be a blah person?

And when shit happens, which it always does I'm various malicious forms, it's better not to care. Coz when you do, you're more likely to either create a homicide or go on a killing spree and massacre people like anywhere because quite frankly, everyone is pretty much freaking dolts these days.
Myself included.

Disclaimer: I iz not killing anyone ever. It's just a matter of expression in writing. Coz you can't see my blah face now. So be very surprised if you see me convicted as a murderer who went on a massive killing rampage.

Hola amigos!

So this was my hair like last night before I've decided I totally need a haircut!

Obviously, I finally did. At JCut, Jcube mall. Snipped off 3 inches. the hairdresser didn't want to cut my fringe shorter. Sian. And my fiance didn't want me to has bangs.

Did I not mention this annoying habit of mine?

No. Not annoying to me. But probably annoying to others. *cues malicious witch cackle*

If I'm not 'minding my own business'...
Let's just say I get extremely bored during my daily commute to and back from work.

Especially now that the US dramas which I'm so diligently following have all gone on hiatus till fall.

Like what's up with that ?! Why!?

Anyway, it's super silly that there's a few stations where network connectivity is low. And I have no access to the internet nor radio. Seriously ?! It's freaking Singapore. Even underground stations in Taipei had better connection. You freaking kidding me?! First world my fungus infected foot. Seriously.

Speaking of which, they're gonna make Singapore's ezlink valid for use in taipei 's train stations and vice versa.

Can I just say that I didn't feel overwhelmed by Taipei's crowd when I commuted off off and during peak hours?!
People queue up in an orderly fashion to board the train, strictly stood to the side on the escalators and they don't smell funky. I didn't smell anything unpleasant ever on their trains. And nobody sits on the reserved seats for the elderly/disabled/pregnant ladies/parent with child. The Taiwanese definitely don't need things like Stomp to ward off inconsiderate behaviours.

But the trade off was, there was this whole crazy college guy stabbing rampage incident when I was there! Like wth?! I've never been to Taipei and when I finally got the chance to, this insane retard decided to do this kind of shit act.

Thank God we were all at the conference on that day.
And it sucks that nobody asked about my wellbeing when I was away.
I heard nada from my mom. Like she didn't care if I was possibly one of the victims in this stabbing incident?

One more thing, Taipei's escalators are slooooow. You know how Singapore escalators go slow when nobody's on it but accelerates when someone gets on? The speed for Taipei's escalators is slightly faster than that. LOL

'nuff bout Taipei.
I was surprisingly slightly disappointed by Taipei.
Perhaps was coz it was mostly for work. But I had fun with my colleagues the few days we got to wander Round the city.

Damit. Now that I've rambled on so much.

I was gonna describe my inevitable urge to stare/ peer at other people's mobile device screens.

Yea. Tablet, phones, whatever. As long as the screen is illuminating and the owner is within close proximity, I will stare. Muahahaha

That includes texting, watching videos, playing games, checking emails, online shopping, reading news, reading ebooks, Heck, even ongoing video calls.

Heh.

Can I just tell you my observations? I'm sure its intriguing what Singaporeans do on their phone.

Oh. I take that back..not always Singaporeans.

So anyway.

Here are my findings!
People here:
  • Text like they need to go through elementary language lessons. Seriously? You call that English? It doesn't even look it. And I guess I need to go thru elementary Chinese lessons again myself? Coz all the cheena people text in Chinese I didnt quite understand. Don't get me started on how some people text in mush it's literally disgusting. Pfft.

Crap. It is my stop. I have to get off at Jurong east interchange. The platform is friggin crowded! Ugh! I get this urge to say to any idiots who get in my path, 'You need to get out of my way.'
  • Need to have better tastes in their choice of dramas. Seriously?! Taiwan 偶像剧?! Some random Korean dramas, cheena Chinese dramas, Korean variety show. Needless to say, that would always be running man. So nice meh? I've seen it. Nothing too addictive.
  • Like to Facebook stalk people. I'm serious. Even I do. Heh.
  • Older folks like past 40 still playing Candy Crush. Really? That's so last year.
  • Need to get better phones other than exorbitantly priced plastic phones. A.k.a. Samsung phones..Heh. I feel instant camaraderie with HTC phone users. Like every HTC user and I exchange knowing nods. I mean, not with strangers but at least with acquaintances and people I know. Such bond. Lol. Then again, in Taipei, almost everyone's using HTC..it's like how cool? And for the first time there are actually quite a wide array of selection for HTC one phone accessories!
  • Should freaking get a screen protector. Not from scratches but from prying eyes. Do you know how tiring it is to be this judgmental?!

Alright amigos. Me goes cut hair. Long overdue.

My hair is so long... And flat. Sian.

And frizzy. Sass

I'd been wanting to rant on lotsa things.

    1. THE long awaited proposal/ bling!onmydaintyfinger
    2. Impending Wedding of forever. Like seriously. Did you think I'm gonna have more than one wedding? Ok I take it back coz I don't wanna jinx myself.
    3. TVD & Elena Gilbert
    4. Ramblings I've thought to pen down but now a distant memory

Well let's just say I will do this some other time.

I just kind of wanna go sit in a quiet park on a cool day with no sun, just fluffy clouds, have a fruit juice, feed the birds, play with a cat and stare at park goers like they've descended from an alien planet, make judgmental comments in my head and proceed to day dream about a life I will never have.

Then completely space out for like 5 minutes.
