The girl with the need to splurge...

With the exam fever now gone, I did feel a lil empty when I woke up this morning.

Gdine's put me back on schedule at PP. I'd be helpin out for a bit for as much as I can. Doubt I can stick around for long. Sorry Gdine! But my mom's shop is more important. heh.

Lunch shift today at PP was slooow. I hate that the restaurant is quiet. What happened to the crazy crowd?! There was this certain Mr Tang who's a regular. I was quite puzzled at his request for 10 individual plates of Char Kway Teow (which is PP's signature dish btw). They were having buffet u see, normally, we'd have to serve like propbably 3 plates of servings enough for 10 to share, takin into consideration that portions should not be too big.
So this Mr Tang asked for more. And more. And more! I was afraid they wont be able to finish coz his colleagues looked at me wide eyed when I brought the 5th plate of kway Teow over. but u know what, Mr Tang is a vacuum cleaner. He ate em all. I guess I shouldn't be puzzled afterall. Just look at his size! >.< class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">shud've rubbed his tummy for "luck". LOL


Anyway, Gdine and I met at City Hall and we started on our shopping spree...
I had NO INTENTION OF BUYING ANYTHING. I swear on my ass. I didn't even think this shopping trip was for me at all. We'd only wanted to get YF's present.

But guess what, being girls...
I bought a skirt and a blouse from Topshop, 2 tops from Promod, and a pair of shoes from C&K.
Gdine got some lingerie, and a pair of shoes.
There was this weird auntie who insisted she had to buy size 39 even when Gdine asked to try for a size 40. -.-
And we succumbed to temptation... we had this Choc-banana pizza at Max Brenner's that was simply PHENOMENAL!!!

At the end of the day... we did not achieve our objective. YF's present is still somewhere out there, waiting to be discovered. heh.

I'm a happy girl. But only bout $220 poorer. DARN.
