Cranky

Lack of sleep makes me cranky. Really cranky.

Irenes and I had lunch and dessert at Swensen's. Clever of 'em to have 1-for-1 lunch promotions on choice of ala carte items. "I'm so going to Swensen's!" tag line applies in every way. Almost full house today! Staff were extremely occupied-- came up short on attentiveness and smiles. I can relate to that. heh. There was this uncle and lil boy bout the age of 5-6 beside us. The Uncle, I'm guessing, might've been the Grandpa. Grandpa waved, held his hands up, tried to call out to service staff. To no avail. He gave up and asked his grandson if they could leave and go NewYork NewYork instead. THe poor boy gazed up at Grandpa, all doe-eyed and oh-so-endearing... Grandpa literally heaved a sigh and tried his best to get some attention from the oblivious service crew again.
Aren't children the cutest? Even I felt compelled to give the boy a hug and squeeze him. Soooo cute! Heh. Can you believe it? Just one look and that was the effect he had on adults.
Heh. ppl who exude cute-ness always get their way, somehow or another.

The hairdresser had me waiting for AT LEAST 30 minutes. I finished flipping thru 5 magazines and read one chapter of my book. Gdine's all trimmed and ready to go but he's only just started on me! Grrr... If not for the fact that he's got a nice Chinese accent, I'd have gone somewhere else.
At least he did a decent job. Otherwise, I'd boycott the place and post bad reviews on the forums!



Some Beng-ish sleazeball with thick GOLD CHAIN and LYCRA WHITE TEE tried to make a conversation at the bus stop. I threw him a look that read "you should stop and back off now". When he asked for my number, I scowled at him and walked away.
Like how dim was he? I was obviously uninterested but he went on anyway. I bet he was satisfied when he got that scowl. I wasnt in the best of moods and it felt good to be mean to some random beng-ish guy with thick gold chain and tight tee. That was so gay. Reminds me of the S and Cans incident. LOL. I wonder who is worse. Aites. I'm bitching. Shall stop. LOL. Just thinking abt the S incident is just hilarious la! And the look on Cans face is priceless. She gets all squirmy when I mention S and I'm utterly amused.


Ugh... I've Jackie the "monster kid" tmr again... *whines. I'm definitely in need of PATIENCE.
Am gonna meet my lovelees tmr for dinner! :) At least something for me to look forward to.

Now that my hair's dry, I ought to go to bed. Hopefully I'll get my much needed rest. Being cranky is just ... cranky.
