Everything was a blur for the past few days.

First came the Freshie orientation. Was a blast! Kudos to all organizing committee! Kerk and Mey did a wonderful job overseeing the progress!

Canni and I were absolutely crazy about the tee shirt we both designed!
I "coup-ped" a few for the girls. HEH. We lurve it to bits. I wore it today to Mandy's! So comfy.

Edward and Keith said this year's orientation was the best that's been in years! Theme was Zeroes to Heroes. Canni and I came up with 7 authentic superheroes of our own.

Introducing the 7 superheroes!!!

1. Lieutenant Ramos: Legendary Leader of the super pack. One curdling stare bestowed upon you causes instant paralysis. Behold, his thunderous voice will send ripples of shivers down your spine.

2. Fluorescent Girl: A walking tabloid flashing news for all to see, she’s the lady for Publicity!

Armed with a fluorescent lamp in hand, FG helps in updating all current affairs and flies to all corners such that news is spread in haste to all.

3. Popcorn: Sidekick guinea pig.

Representing all GLs. Cute, and bubbly, its squeals can stir any emotion it wants in its target, be it happiness or anguish. Ever with zest and energy, Popcorn is the omnipresent overseer to every member of the group.

4. Wig woman: Representing Game masters. Prowess eye catching MEGA-wig. She can conjure up ANYTHING you want- useful for games. Essential needs will come as her wig (albeit some of them will look weird). She usually wears an afro.

5. Lampshade wonder: this hero represents logistics. His superpower is light- Teleports heavy stuff around and he can shoot huge lampshades to shelter people if anything heavy falls down. Ever-ready to provide in times of need. Look out for him!

6. Strawberry Jam Maniac: loves eating strawberry jam and riding on his mobile car that runs on strawberry jam as fuel. His superpower is to shoot globs of strawberry jam. These globs could transfer people to their respective orientation group or tap deviants inside for a bit of time if they misbehave. He represents registration. Any misbehavior will not be entertained.

7. Chinese Roti John: He’s the master food manipulator. If his food doesn’t satiate you, it’ll only leave you yearning for more. The water he provides is ever refreshing but he has the power to hinder you from it. The Food committee he proudly represents. No special orders please, or you’d have to deal with the spatula in his hand.

Cool aint it? I shud post the video up sometime. It was spectacular. The production team did an awesome job on it. The Freshies loved it.

Orientation was on the 26th. Rest on 27th. MnP dept chalet at Laguna Country Club on the 28th. That was another fun-packed event.

We played the "Shi-zi-lu-kou" game. Practically running all over the eastern part of Singapore in search of food. The first food item was "Kueh-Pie-Ti". Killer food. All 4 teams spent loads of time locating it.

Team K.K (kaixin and I as grp ICs) came in second. Pam's grp was first. But we all had to do the forfeit coz all grps made our own food item as opposed to the original game rules (only food that are bought as it is are valid.)

Everything happened so fast! I was on high the next day. Sunday came, Keith drove Matt and I out of Laguna and I caught the train home. I was so beat I could barely keep my eyes open. *sigh. I was thinkin of goin to church but was too tired to do so...

well then... Mandy invited us over for her famous Jap Curry! oooooh~~
We'd some girly talks and played a game of monopoly!! Madness. Gdine was on a winning streak until she traded with me. HEh. And there it was... the fall of GDine. LOL.

School term is commencing. We've had our fun and now's the work.
