i ALMOST DIED TODAY...


WORK WAS MELLOW BUT BORING TODAY. MEL WAS SMART ENOUGH NOT TO IRK ME.

AFTER DINNER WITH YIJIA AT IKEA, I WAITED AT A BUS STOP FOR A BUS 198.
15 MINUTES TICKED BY AND I'D DECIDED.. COINCIDENTALLY, TO CHECK OUT THE BUS DIRECTORY. I'D BEEN WAITING AT THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD... WITH A BLADDER THREATENING TO BURST WITHIN ME ANYTIME SOON.

i'M NOT SURE ABT U, BUT ALL THESE TYPING IN CAPS IS MAKING ME GIDDY.

I almost died becoz... this cab which stopped right in front of me, had a few guys alighting. I stood by patiently, waiting for all 4 of them to alight. 1 of them shut the front door of the cab just as I was in motion to board the vehicle.
Everything happened so fast. Barely 2 seconds after the front door has been shut (the driver, evidently didnt notice my presence)... the driver took off! WITH HALF MY BODY OUTSIDE THE CAB. I had to do a little "scurrying on my left foot with half of the right side of my body IN THE CAB.
I was startled and horrified. I thought I was going to die! "OH GOD! STOP!" I screamed. In my head,
On the contrary... I'd only managed a tiny, feeble squeak "Excuse me..."
THe driver was surprised, the cab screeched to a halt. "I'm sorry! I didnt knw u're here!"

Shaken, I closed the door. THis time, The whole of me was safe in the cab. Lookin as composed as I could've been, "Jurong west pls."

THANK GOD I'M STILL ALIVE.


Oh my... That was some "adventure".
